Where Toyota Sienna orders go wrong
- The 1MZ-FE and 2GR-FE are different engine families with different displacement and different supporting hardware. They are not interchangeable.
- Front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive Siennas differ in the supporting hardware around the engine, particularly the transfer case and front axle arrangement on AWD models.
- The second-generation Sienna used both the 1MZ-FE and the 3MZ-FE, which are related but not identical. The year and VIN settle which one is fitted.
