What this site does
It identifies the engine your vehicle actually takes, then checks what is genuinely available for it with suppliers, and comes back to you with a quote for a specific unit.
The reason it exists in that shape is a gap in how this market works. Almost every used-engine listing is organised by engine code, which assumes the buyer already knows theirs. Most people whose engine has just failed do not, and cannot easily find out. Doing that identification is the service.
How it makes money
Suppliers pay a commission when a request we send them turns into a sale. You are not charged for anything on this site, and there is no markup applied on top of a supplier’s price by us.
That is disclosed here rather than buried in the terms because it is the thing a reasonable person would want to know before sending their details. It also explains a structural bias worth being aware of: this site earns nothing when the honest answer is that you should not buy an engine. The pages here are written to give that answer anyway , that is the standard being aimed at, and you are entitled to judge whether it is met.
What this site is not
- It is not a warehouse. No inventory is held here. Stock belongs to suppliers, and availability is checked per request.
- It is not an installer. We can point you toward shops in the Valley that do this work. We do not fit engines and do not operate a certified installer network.
- It is not a manufacturer affiliate. No relationship with Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru or any other manufacturer is claimed or implied.
- It does not publish prices. Engine pricing depends on the variant, the condition, what is attached to the unit and how it reaches you.
How the technical information is maintained
Engine specifications and factory applications come from published manufacturer data, cross-checked. Where a figure could not be established to that standard it is omitted rather than estimated, which is why bore and stroke appear on some engine pages and not others.
Power and torque figures are absent everywhere on purpose. They vary by market, model year, fuel grade and measurement standard, and a single number without that context is marketing rather than specification.
Factory application tables record which vehicles left the factory with which engine. That is a fact about how cars were built and it is not a compatibility promise. Every table on this site says so alongside it, because the difference between those two things is where buyers lose money.

Where we work
Phoenix, Mesa, Chandler, Scottsdale, Glendale, Gilbert, Tempe, Peoria, Surprise, Avondale, Goodyear, Buckeye, Queen Creek and Apache Junction. Those communities are named because engines are genuinely sourced and delivered across the Valley: not as a set of separate landing pages, which is the usual approach and which would produce a dozen pages saying the same thing with the city name swapped.
